This song is something very special, the whole record actually. To think, this guy (Tom Scholz), an MIT engineer, tried to get his music(demos) signed for years without luck and then after getting a shot and recording the album in his HOME BASEMENT, yes this song was recorded in his basement , contrary to his record label who actually thought it was being recorded in a pro record studio. Its just insane. This band and Scholz`s sound was THE sound in that time, changed a lot of things, a lot of bands wanted to sound like Boston. The production stood the test of time. Sounds energetic, fresh and wild. One of the best records ever, back then if was a smash hit, it sold millions of records.
